Onions good. Roadhouse onions very good. Yum. (Thank you
redhawke.)
Onions rate right up there with garlic for my favorite flavors. Might even give chocolate a run for the money, depending on my mood. Time of day matters, onions & garlic are flavors I favor for lunchtime. Although I do have a killer fish BBQ sauce that is very heavy on the garlic. Because the first time I made it (under the supervision of a good cook) I was informed I shouldn't cut back on the garlic because the cloves were kinda big. I was to double the amount of garlic called for because there's no such thing as too much garlic.
And homemade French Onion Soup - love the stuff. The first I made I served it to fast-foodie, who asked what it was. When told it was onion soup, he wanted to know what the long white things were. When told they were the onions, he said "I didn't know you could make onion soup with real onions."
